November Winners

C Level Winning Team: U13C Sea Hawks

The Sea Hawks are currently 4-4 in league play and are playing hard and having lots of fun, showing great sportsmanship along the way.

Competitive Level Winning Team: U15B Red

U15 B Red is our November winner for making the best out of a very tough situation in a game against Eastern shore.  The team held the line on acceptable behaviour in the rink and handled the situation with grace.

Congrats to the two winning teams!

December Winners

Competitive Division: U11AA Red and U11AA Black (Co winners) - Both teams are having remarkable seasons, sitting atop the CMHF standings at 1st and 2nd respectively.  They are a true testament to the ability for smaller associations being able to have 2 teams at this level and have success with strong coaching and dedicated players and families.  Well done!

C Division: U15C Red Hawks

Coach Robert Apold: "Our team is all about continuing to develop our skills, respecting each other and having fun.  We have a diverse set of skills on our team but we celebrate each other's successes no matter how big or small and are quick to give support when called for."
Congrats on your Silver tournament win this past weekend in Bridgetown!

February Team of the Month Winners

U15C White Hawks are finding many ways to develop personally and as a team. They recently had a growth opportunity by participating in the Hockey Dieppe Memramcook Tournament from 23-25 February. Even though they did not move on to the semis, they used the time to learn, bond as a team, and skate at the Dieppe oval. They received compliments from restaurant servers on how great the players conducted themselves. Some players have had the opportunity to play or practice up with U15B teams to develop their skills for next year. They have a very committed group of parents this year who are providing guidance and support to players on and off the ice, through success and adversity. The Halifax Hawks wishes the U15C White Hawks good luck with your final games during this playoff round.

U13A Hawks have had a remarkable run through February and the provincial playdowns.  Having finished 6th of 7 teams in regular season play the Hawks have turned it on at the right time and finished 4-1-1 in playdowns clinching first place and hosting a playdown semi final.  They are playing as a team, bringing a hard working and positive approach to their game each night.

Well done and congrats to both teams!
